The Thomistic Institute is an academic unit, conducting research on theology and philosophy, especially on the thought by St. Thomas Aquinas. According to its statute, the Institute may fulfil its goals among others through following forms of activity:
- organizing research and translatory work related to the life and thought of St. Thomas Aquinas;
- issuing book series and “The Annual Review of the Thomistic Institute” journal;
- providing educational activities in the form of lectures, discussions and academic seminars;
- gathering and sharing materials and bibliographies, both Polish and foreign.
Projects currently implemented by the Thomistic Insitute fall into precisely these general frames.
