22 czerwca 2018 roku odbył się w Instytucie Tomistycznym wykład prof. Eleonore Stump, zatytułowany Słonecznik: Guilt, Forgiveness and Reconciliation (Słonecznik: Wina, przebaczenie i pojednanie). Oto nagranie tego wykładu:
Prof. Eleonore Stump jest obecnie profesorem filozofii na Saint Louis University; wykładała także m.in. na Cornell University, Oberlin College, Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, University of Notre Dame, Australian Catholic University czy na Uniwersytecie Wuhan. Oprócz tomizmu, zajmuje się również ogólnie filozofią średniowieczną, filozofią religii, metafizyką oraz problemem zła i cierpienia. Jest autorką takich książek, jak The God of the Bible and the God of Philosophers. Aquinas Lecture (Marquette University Press 2016); Wandering in Darkness: Narrative and the Problem of Suffering (Oxford University Press 2010); Aquinas (Routledge 2003); w tym roku zaś ukaże się jej kolejne książka, Atonement (Oxford University Press, 2018).
